
Dr. Charles Ume, Chairman of the Board
Dr. Ume is Professor and Director of the Advanced Electronic Packaging and Laser Processing Laboratory, at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia and founded Akrometrix in 1993. Professor Ume received his Ph.D. in 1985 from the University of South Carolina in Mechanical Engineering, and has held the rank of Professor at Georgia Tech since 1999. Dr. Ume has been the Chairman of the Board for Akrometrix since its inception in 1993. He holds numerous patents and has published over 200 reviewed journal articles and books since 1985. As a prolific researcher he has mentored dozens of advanced degree students and has won numerous awards for his academic teaching skills. Dr. Ume is also the Founder and Chairman of Intergris, LLC.

Dipl. Ing. Juergen Uwe Gamalski
Siemens AG, Corporate Technology
Mr. Gamalski works for Siemens AG in the field of material science since 1968.
From 1976 to 1979 he was in charge of the material testing laboratory as a part of the quality assurance division of Siemens in Pretoria, South Africa.
Mr. Gamalski currently serves as the department head of Packaging and Assembly in the Corporate Research and Technology Division, Materials & Microsystems. The department is integrated with the internal R&D activities for all Siemens divisions worldwide.
Mr. Gamalski has served on numerous national and international microelectronics standardization committees during his career in the fields of soft soldering, electronic packaging and assembly technologies. Mr. Gamalski graduated from the University of Applied Science in Berlin, Germany with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

William D. Moorer
Mr. Moorer was formerly the President and CEO of Akrometrix. Prior to Akrometrix he founded Moorer & Associates, LLC, a boutique consultancy firm focused on assisting initial stage and small companies in operational excellence and risk management. Prior to Moorer & Associates, LLC, he served as Vice Chairman and COO of Techsonic Industries, Inc., a market leader in the development and manufacturing of marine electronics solutions including depth finders and GPS. Techsonic Industries Inc. was acquired by the Teleflex Corporation. Prior to Techsonic Industries Inc., Mr. Moorer held senior management positions at the Tenna Corporation, Electrolux Corporation and Aladdin Industries.
Mr. Moorer currently serves on the Bobby Dodd Institute Board of Directors and previously on the Board of Directors for Techsonic Industries Inc. and the Southern Bank of Commerce.
Mr. Moorer holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.

Bill Ruh
Cisco Services
Mr. Ruh brings more than 25 years of industry experience and an expertise in product development, professional services, software and IT architecture to Cisco. His current position as Vice President, Advanced Services includes global responsibility for setting and leading the advanced services and solutions portfolio strategy, development and operations.
Prior to joining Cisco Mr. Ruh was the CTO and Senior Vice President at Software AG, Inc. responsible for services and solutions. Prior to Software AG, Inc. he served in executive capacities at entrepreneurial companies The Advisory Board and Concept Five Technologies. Early in his career he worked at the MITRE Corporation as well as IBM in a variety of technical roles.
Mr. Ruh is an accomplished author with four books released since 1997 and regularly speaks at the World Wide Web Consortium Conferences and the Gartner GroupsÕ Enterprise Application Integration Conferences.
Mr. Ruh graduated with a bachelor of science and a master of science in computer science from the California State University, Fullerton.
